Welcome to the new site
First blog post from the new website, hosted by Zenfolio...I migrated over after multiple years with Photoshelter primarily because Photoshelter's UI was confusing and difficult to use for many of my customers. So far I'm highly pleased with Zenfolio and the clients who worked with me during the transition all report that they find the new site much easier to use.
Several key things about Zenfolio that I found during the site build process:
The latter is a huge relief - I spent a lot of time with Wordpress configuring my old site, including learning way more about CSS than I wanted to or had time for. The primary downside of customization was that I really didn't ever want to touch it again and so my site got stale. With the new site I'm looking forward to being able to keep content flowing and the site fresh on a regular basis.
Here's a quick outtake courtesy of my assistant Lisa - me working with the Bride and Groom and the last wedding of the season.
Looking forward to a more regular cadence of posts in the new year...perhaps even including some New Year's resolutions.
Cheers and Happy Holidays,
